C Corona Construction was contracted to improve outdoor functionality and water management at a residential property in Alsip. The project included the removal and replacement of the existing back patio and sidewalk, along with the installation of a new downspout drainage system to redirect stormwater away from the structure’s foundation.

This upgrade significantly enhanced the property’s usability, longevity, and safety by reducing erosion and minimizing standing water during heavy rains.

Work Highlights

• Demolition and Excavation: Removed existing concrete from the back patio and sidewalk areas. Excavated and graded the ground to proper slope and depth.
• Drainage System Installation: Installed underground piping connected to the downspouts to channel water safely away from the house.
• Concrete Work: Formed and poured a new patio slab and sidewalk using high-strength concrete, finished for both durability and visual appeal.
• Site Clean-Up & Final Walkthrough: Restored surrounding landscape disturbed during excavation and completed a quality assurance check with the client.
